Ingredients

  • 1 fresh bagel (plain, sesame, or everything)
  • 2–3 tbsp cream cheese (plain or herbed)
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • 70–80 g smoked salmon ribbons
  • 4–5 cucumber ribbons
  • 2–3 thin slices red onion
  • Fresh dill sprigs
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Capers
  • Pickled red onion
  • Lemon wedge for serving

Directions

  1. Slice the bagel in half and toast until golden and crisp.
  2. Mix the cream cheese with lemon zest.
  3. Spread generously over both halves of the toasted bagel.
  4. Add cucumber ribbons evenly across the bagel.
