Green Tea, Apple & Spearmint Iced Tea

Ingredients

    • 1 litre mint green tea
    • (about 4–5 green tea bags)

    • 1 cup fresh green apple juice

    • (about 2–3 green apples)

    • OR

    • 1 cup good-quality store-bought apple juice

    • ¼ cup brewed spearmint tea

    blank

    • Ice cubes

    • Optional:

    • • fresh mint leaves

    • • apple slices

    Method

      1. Brew 1 litre of mint green tea using 4–5 tea bags in warm water.

      2. Allow the tea to steep until completely cooled.

      3. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill overnight with the tea bags still inside.

      1. Juice fresh green apples to yield about 1 cup of juice.

      2. The tart sweetness of green apples works best for balance.

      1. Prepare spearmint tea by steeping about 3 tablespoons of spearmint leaves per litre of water.

      2. Let steep overnight and strain before using.

      1. Fill a glass with ice.

      2. Add:

      4. • 1 cup apple juice

      5. • ¼ cup spearmint tea

      6. Stir gently to combine.
