Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat milk or almond milk
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Tiny pinch nutmeg
  • â…› tsp ground cardamom or lightly crushed pod
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ashwagandha powder

Directions

  1. Pour the oat milk into a small pot and warm gently over low heat.
  2. Avoid boiling to maintain a smooth texture.
  3. Whisk in the cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom.
  4. Allow the mixture to gently heat for about 3–5 minutes so the flavours infuse.
  5. Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  6. Whisk in the ashwagandha powder if using.
  7. Froth or blend the mixture for a creamy, café-style texture.
  8. Pour into a mug and optionally dust with a little cinnamon on top.
  9. Serve warm.
