Chocolate Chip Cottage Cheese Protein Waffles

Golden cottage cheese protein waffles with chocolate chips stacked on a plate.

These cottage cheese protein waffles are light, fluffy and naturally high in protein, making them the perfect nourishing breakfast that still feels like a treat. Blending cottage cheese with eggs creates a smooth batter that cooks into tender waffles with a lightly crisp exterior.

Oats add structure and fibre, while dark chocolate chips melt into pockets of sweetness throughout the waffle. The result is a balanced breakfast that feels indulgent without being overly heavy.

For an extra flavour boost, a little orange zest brightens the batter and pairs beautifully with the chocolate. These waffles are quick to prepare, freezer-friendly and perfect for slow weekend mornings or easy weekday breakfasts.
